The State Director of the City Boy Movement in Ekiti State, Asiwaju Kasali Oluwafemi, has approved the immediate restructuring of the State Executive Council as part of efforts to reposition the Movement for more effective coordination and grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

The restructuring affects only the State Executive Council. All Local Government, Ward and Unit coordinating structures across Ekiti State remain intact and are to continue their activities without interruption.

According to the State Director, the exercise is aimed at strengthening the Movement’s leadership structure, improving operational efficiency, and galvanising support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu when campaigns officially commence.

Kasali expressed appreciation to members of the outgoing State Executive Council for their dedication and contributions to the growth of the Movement, assuring members that consultations are ongoing towards the appointment of a new State Executive Council.

He urged all members and stakeholders to remain united, committed and focused as the Movement continues to expand its grassroots presence across the state.
